I graduated with honors from Troy High School in 2004. I then went to Temple College and Navarro College, and eventually graduated from the Texas A&M Commerce School of Business. After that, I completed the Teacher Preparation and Certficatin Program through Region 12 and obtained an Alternative Certificaiton to teach. I am currently certified to teach English, History, Science, and Math in grades 4-8.
I am currently an 8th grade U.S. History teacher as well as a Success classroom teacher.
I have previously taught 6th grade Reading, 7th grade Reading, 8th grade Reading, and 7th grade Writing.
I am origionally from Troy, Tx and the majority of my family still lives there. I am the oldest of two, and my baby sister recently moved to Seattle, WA with her husband, who is in the Coast Guard. I have a precious 9 year old Pomeranian named Ally, who has the most unique personality out of any dog I’ve ever known. To know her is to love her (even though some might disagree).
When I’m not teaching, you can find me at a Texas Ranger game (during baseball season), or out on the open road. I love traveling and do it any chance I get. I also enjoy painting, board games, spending time with my friends and family, and any and everything Disney.
